Helpful Hints for New Users

  • Use the "what's this?" links near different features to get additional details on how each feature works.
  • Some example interaction situations are stored as patient records for you to look at. After you log in a pop up window will describe these.
  • Drug-drug and drug-gene interactions are often a concern when a drug is being started or stopped, and a person is already taking other medications. Use the Start-Stop Report feature to get the most information. It is step 2 in the drug entry page.
  • Be sure the correct drug has been selected. Names are sometimes long (unpronounceable) and very similar.
  • GeneMedRx should guide medication use only with consideration of all the risks and benefits of the various medications involved.
  • Click on "Help" in the main menu on the left side of the screen for more detailed information on all features of the program.

Features: Each subscriber will get a permanent record which can be accessed, changed and saved as often as desired. DNA testing clients can extend their access with either an individual or family plan subscription.

Individual Plan - one year: $23.95 Plus 90 day referral bonus

Family plan - one log in name and password, one year, family members ($17.95 each after the first at $23.95).

Additional friends and family with individual log in. Please purchase one of the plans above, then after you have registered and logged in, click the "Tell a friend: extend two subscriptions" icon (lower left side of screen). That will let you send them an email entitling them to a discounted price. When they purchase, your subscription will be extended by three months and they will get an extra three months on their subscription which is equivalent to the $17.95 family plan price.
